The design of this development is one which has a corner unit that acts as an effective feature, which works in contrast to the rest of the development to achieve a number of aims:

•It defines the approach corner of the site in a strong and clear way setting up a relationship between town and country, urban strength and rural softness, strong massing and broken massing.

This design language then sets up a counterpoint between the different elements. These elements are then invited to relate to each other by the addition of various ‘linking’ features to the ‘tower’
